The W0MU-1 CC Cluster node is open to all. You will find most users are from the Rocky Mountain region, including Colorado, Montana, Utah, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska and Wyoming. Most users are active with the Grand Mesa Contest Club or the Mile Hi DX Association.
The Cluster is easy reached using most any contest logging program, CC User or Telnet. W0MU-1 located at w0mu.net port 23 Tied into the cluster is a skimmer/RBN located at the Colorado location, near Castle Rock, Colorado.
The skimmer uses a QS1R receiver that can decode cw on 7 bands at one time. Generally it is setup to skim 10, 12, 15, 17, 20, 30 and 40 meters. For contests it is configured for the appropriate bands. The antenna is a DX Engineering Active Antenna with preamp.
If you prefer not to receive skimmer spots you can simply turn it off by giving the set/noskimmer command to the cluster.
